Kitchen Renovation
Kitchen refresh in Success homes, keeping the layout and replacing what has worn out.
Success was built out from the 1990s onwards, close to Cockburn Central. The houses are newer than most of the suburbs we work in, so the kitchens are not original — they are twenty to thirty years old, which is exactly when doors, benches and flooring start to fail.
The layout is usually still right. The kitchen is open to the family room, the island works, and the storage is adequate. What has worn out is the surface.
For most homes here the sensible job is a refresh: new doors and panels, a new bench, a proper rangehood, and flooring through the living area. It avoids demolition, keeps the plumbing where it is and takes a fraction of the time.
Because the kitchen, meals and family room are usually one space, the flooring and the bench colour have to be chosen together. Doing the kitchen now and the floor later is how rooms end up looking like two different projects.

Door and panel replacement, or a full new set, with the carcasses reused where they are sound.
Flooring through the open-plan area in one run, so the kitchen and living room match.
Usually yes, if the boxes are square and dry. New doors, a new bench and a rangehood upgrade will modernise a 1990s kitchen for a fraction of a rebuild.
Shorter than a rebuild, because there is no demolition of the layout. Most refreshes are measured in weeks rather than months, with the bench as the main lead time.
If the kitchen opens to the living area, yes. Doing the floor later is how rooms end up looking like two separate projects with a join between them.
We also work in the suburbs around Success:
Send a photo of the kitchen with the doors open and one of the living area. If the carcasses are sound, the quote will surprise you in a good way.
